week two predictions!!
Week 1 is in the bag with 6 teams on the positive side of the standings and another six, including DiggyDeeDooDah on the losing end. No team wants to go 0 for 2 so this is a pivotal week for TheBeerHolders, his wife PeggySue, Maddog20/20, BeMoreKid, the StillMadKid, and the aforementioned DiggyDooHoo... So lets get to the Corral's 2nd week of pre-game predictions.............
PRIMETIME GAME OF THE WEEK
KC NOStars (1-0) over MelvinLovesMichigan (1-0)
When you are last weeks Lead Story, you get to play in the PRIMETIME GAME OF THE WEEK the following week. That means that the KC "NoStars" vrs. HailTodaNO aka "I LOVE WOLVERINES" gets to play in the Sunday night game!
The KC's lead the league in scoring with 242 points. The HailToDaVictors netted 168 points in their victory last week. This is also one of only two games this week that pits two 1-0 teams against each other.
Melvin will be relying on Jalen Hurts and AJ Brown to put up better numbers than they did last week, BUT they will be playing against the Chiefs, a team that figure to be firing on all cylinders this week after losing their opener in Brazil. The Chiefs will be ready for their home opener against the Iggles so don't look for huge numbers from Hurts and Brown. Melvin also has Malik Nabors, who is currently questionable, going against the Cowboys. Malik suffers from not having a great QB so expect diminished returns from him.... Meanwhile, KC has Barkley, (not to be confused with her cuckoo dog), Derrick Henry, Nigba and Caleb Williams. OUCH.... We predict KC in a romp........
PRIMETIME GAME
LordOfDaRings (1-0) over BigPlanz2 (1-0)
Our primetime 4pm slotted game features the other matchup of teams that each won last week. Let it be known that The Corral never roots for the RingMaster, He has become the modern version of the NewEngland Patriots. The KC Chiefs. The Lebrons. In other words, teams/people that the masses have grown tired of seeing on their TV screens. So by default, The Corral picks NYSkylines to lose.....

HOWEVER, the matchups this week are very interesting. Skyline's Josh Allen vrs Planz2 Michael Peniz.. Advantage: Allen. Sky's Justin "First Round" Jefferson vrs Planz2's Ladd McConkey. Advantage: Jefferson. All the other matchups are a push. As much as we hate to say it, we have to predict a win by at least 10-12 points by TheRingMaster.... Ouch!!! It hurt just typing that!!!! LOL
THE EARLY GAMES (aka: games noone will watch)
Jungle Bunny (1-0) over Uncle Bo (aka StillMad) (0-1)
JB posted a staggering 241 points last week, second by a point to his kid sister, her sidekick and her dog Barkley, who rolled to a league leading 242 points. Unclo Bo posted 170 points last week but Yahoo! still considers daKidd as the favorite to upset JB. Then again, this is the same Yahoo! that gave JB a D- draft grade.

JB's crew features Justin Herbert , Puca Na'chua, and JaMar Chase going against daKidd's Bo "Not Jackson" Nix, CeeDee "Dropped it" Lamb, (not to be confused with Dez "Caught It" Bryant) and Jacoby&Myers. We give the edge to JB's trio, although we foresee CD getting a lot of opportunities to make up for his miscues last week. The Corral goes against Yahoo! by predicting a win by JB, giving more support to daKidd's message to the League Office contending that his "season is already over".
The O.C (1-0) over HoldMyBeer&WatchMeLose (0-1)
Yahoo! again predicts a team that scored over 200 points last week to lose to a team that scored a meager 158 last week. We see why. TheBeerHolders starters include Jared Golf, NotSoScary Terry, Amen Ray St. Brown, and that kicker who's name we won't mention in this article. The Original Commissioner counters with Dak Prescott, Garrett Wilson, Zay Flowers, and D.D.D. (Dat Denver Defense).

The Corral sees this one as being close, but no cigar for Mikey.... Mikey is left holding a lukewarm draft beer at the end of the Monday night game, after watching Jeanty try to come from 30+ points behind. O.C. wins this one with ease....
Peggy's (0-1) over Diggy's (0-1)
Early first game in the "Winless Bowl". Someone leaves this game a winner. Or better still, a tie!!! LOL

BOLD PREDICTION: Micah Parsons gets his second and third sack of the season against Jaydon Daniels, knocking him out of the game with a "meniscus" injury (inside joke to Diggy).
Seriously speaking, this game depends on what happens Thursday night. Diggy's QB, JDaniels goes up against a stout GB Packer team with league terror Micah Parsons chasing him around all night. If Jaydon has a less than stellar night, Diggy could be facing an 0-2 start to his season. Meanwhile, Peggy has some thoroughbreds in her lineup starting with Joe "Cool" Burrow, Drake, and the SF defense.... Our Prediction is Peggy clobbers Diggy and GBay flushes the Commodes.
B'MoreKid (0-1) over MadderDog20/20 (0-1)
The early second game in the "Winless Bowl" gives us a "Battle of the Maryland friends". Interesting nugget in this game: BMore has the Raven defense and MadDog has the Bills defense, both of which gave up a 40-burger last Sunday night. It will be interesting to see how they fare this weekend.

We still like Lemar Jackson to play significantly better than Baker Mayfield so with that advantage, we give the nod to BMoreKid to get the win over MadDog....
